With the opening of Melbourne’s very own Nant Whisky Bar in Driver Lane, and the recent opening of Brisbane’s second Nant Whisky Bar at 2 Edward Street, the word, and the opportunity to savour this internationally renowned Tasmanian Highland Single Malt Whisky, is growing fast. Locals and visitors to Hobart’s Salamanca Place have long enjoyed the intimate atmosphere of the Nant Whisky Bar on Wooby’s Lane, while Nant Whisky Bar at Number 10 Emporium has become a firm favourite amongst Fortitude Valley’s whisky enthusiasts. This year will also see Sydney get its first Nant Whisky Bar, while plans are also underway for Nant’s first international premises in London.

The Nant Single Malt Whisky (American Oak Bourbon Wood) has twice been awarded ‘Liquid Gold’ Status in the Jim Murray Whisky Bible (2012 & 2014 editions).
In September 2013, the Nant Single Malt Whisky (American Oak Sherry Wood) picked up Gold at the prestigious China Wine & Spirits Awards. Two other Nant Single Malt Whiskies, the French Oak Port Wood (Maturation 43%) and the French Oak Port Wood (Maturation 63%) won Silver at the same awards.

Nant Estate’s Executive Chef, Tristan Stephens, delights in bringing you Confit whisky BBQ chicken wings, Haggis, Neeps & Tatties, House cured ocean trout with organic quark, puffed wild rice, fennel and brioche. We’re not just parochial; we simply believe in offering up the finest in each class. And of course, for beer aficionados, that just happens to be Tasmania’s own Moo Brew: Pilsner, Pale Ale, Dark Ale, Belo, Hefweizen, and the limited release Imperial Stout.
